An Awful Villain Appears

Tanjiro struggles to ramify the head from the bitsy body of Upper Rank 4 Demon Hantengu. As his blade makes contact with Hantengu's neck, Genya sees the four Emotion Demons incontinently reply. The wrathfulness Demon fuses with the others to come a new foe stronger than any single one of them.

Zohakuten, the new demon, is the manifestation of Hantengu's abomination. As one of the most inviting feelings, this demon has the intensity and presence to match.

Tanjiro is Undeterred

Genya and Tanjiro are firmed in place by Zohakuten’s sheer power. Genya feels the vitality draining from his body just from being in the demon’s propinquity. The aspect of Hantengu doesn't attack physically — yet but rather rates the Demon Slayer for attacking the poor, small demon.

Tanjiro, still, doesn't let the insincerity slide. He declares his intention to stop Zohakuten from killing anyone ever again and finds the strength to raise his brand.

Tokito Tries One More Time

Gyokko lurks in the doorway of the swordsmithing chalet. Haganezuka’s apprentice desperately defends the swordsmith, who's still polishing the antique brand Tanjiro set up inside the YoriichiType Zero training automaton. He’s concentrating on the blade so hard that he doesn’t hear Gyokko attacking his apprentice behind him.

No matter how important Gyokko calls out to Haganezuka or threatens him, the swordsmith doesn’t notice him. The only thing he sees and hears is the polishing of the sword blade. The Upper-Rank demon is furious. Although he could fluently kill him, Gyokko was determined to break his attention.

Haganezuka Keeps His Focus

With only a little bit of air left in his lungs, Tokito remains trapped inside Gyokko’s watery captivity. Gyokko’s curiosity gets the stylish of him and the Upper Rank 5 demon leaves Tokito to look inside the swordsmiths ’ exfoliate. Tokito uses the last of his oxygen for one further strike against the side of the water bubble and his minced blade can't pierce through.

As he resigns himself to death, he sees a vision of Tanjiro gently encouraging him. He realizes it wasn't Tanjiro who formerly said the same thing to him. But who was it?

Tokito Remembers

As the vision of Tanjiro tells Tokito to give up, Kotetsu shows up outside the bubble with a cutter in hand. He’s determined to save the Mist Hashira. Kotetsu doesn't realize a demon is behind him and it gashes the youthful boy. Kotetsu desperately breathes into the bubble. It's just enough to give Tokito the oxygen he needs.

Suddenly he remembers who has the same kind, of red eyes as Tanjiro his father. Just as the memory shells, Tokito eventually breaks free with one massive attack.
